Faculty
Scott A. McMillan will serve as Dean and faculty member. Mr. McMillan received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of California at San Diego in 1988 and his Juris Doctorate from Western Sierra School of Law in 1999. Mr. McMillan founded and ran a successful computer distribution business for 16 years before taking up the practice of law.
Alvin G. Kalmanson will serve as a faculty member. Mr. Kalmanson attended New York University where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, a Bachelor of Law and a Master of Laws in Trade Regulation. Mr. Kalmanson was the recipient of a New York State Scholarship and the Lester Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Kalmanson is licensed to practice law in California.
Bethsaida C. Obra will serve as a faculty member. Ms. Obra received her Bachelor of Arts in English with Distinction and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Distinction from San Diego State University. Ms. Obra earned her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law where she was the recipient of the John J. Schumacher scholarship and has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2005.
Evan A. Kalooky will serve as a faculty member. Mr. Kalooky attended Georgetown University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Government. Mr. Kalooky is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law. Mr. Kalooky took and passed the California Bar Examination in February 2006 and is a member of the State Bar of California.
The remaining faculty of MAOL are currently being interviewed and hired. As faculty are hired, information regarding the person's degree field, specialization and date of degree will be provided.
